The American Gem Trade Association’s 2001 AGTA Spectrum Award competition drew the most colourful and unusual jewelry designs created in calendar year 2000. The competition is the only North American competition to honor the creative use of natural coloured gemstones in original jewelry design. Entrants compete with America’s top coloured gemstone jewelry designers.
Judging was held in October 2000. The winning designs will be on display January 31 – February 5, 2001 at the AGTA GemFair in Tucson, Arizona. The 2001 AGTA Spectrum Award winners were honored at the American Gem Trade Association Awards and Dinner Dance on Saturday, February 3, 2001.<\/p>\n
